Scorpion venom is the latest breakthrough in the treatment of arthritis
The scorpion's poison is one of the strongest toxins that, if entered into the bloodstream, causes rapid death, but God creates every disease. A team of American researchers has found a cure for arthritis by scorpion poison.
According to the American medical site "MedicalXpress", the researchers explained that rheumatoid arthritis affects approximately 1.3 million people.
A group of researchers led by Dr. Christine Peton at Baylor College of Medicine found that one of hundreds of ingredients in scorpion poison can reduce the severity of arthritis without causing side effects.
"Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease, where the immune system attacks the body, in which case it affects the joints," said Beaton, a professor of molecular physiology and biophysics and a member of the Baylor College Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Research has shown that scorpions have toxins called botulinum toxos and are able to prevent potassium and other channels to improve the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis
